Coast Guard chopper makes safe emergency landing at Logan Airport
A US Coast Guard chopper made an emergency landing at Logan Airport this afternoon after the crew noticed a “strange odor’’ in the cockpit, according to Phil Orlandella, Logan spokesman.
He said the chopper safely landed in the general aviation area of the East Boston airport shortly before 2 p.m.
Flights at Logan were not interrupted by the incident.
