Man shot to death in Charlestown last night
A man in his 20s was shot to death in Charlestown last night, Boston police said.
The victim was found at the intersection of Walford Way and McNulty Court about 10:46 p.m., suffering from a single gunshot wound to the chest, a police statement said.
The man was rushed to Massachusetts General Hospital where he was pronounced dead.
Police said it was the 42nd homicide in the city, compared with 45 murders last year at this time.
No arrests have been made in the case. Homicide unit investigators are trying to determine a motive for the slaying.
