Car hits 2 pedestrians near Boston Medical Center, police say

The identity and condition of the victims is unknown, a Boston Police Department spokesperson said.

A car struck two pedestrians near Boston Medical Center on Monday night, a spokesperson for Boston police said.

Officers responded to Massachusetts Ave. and Albany St. around 8:46 p.m., where they found two people injured, the spokesperson said.

The spokesperson said first responders transported the victims to a local hospital. Their identities and condition is unknown. 

The spokesperson said the motive and circumstances behind the crash were unclear, but the BPD Homicide Unit was called to the scene to investigate.

As of Monday night, no arrests have been made, said the spokesperson.
