Conde Nast Traveler readers love skiing in New England.

The travel publication recently released its list of the best 30 ski resorts in the U.S., part of its 38th Annual Readers’ Choice Awards, and Bretton Woods in N.H. ranked No. 3, Killington Resort in Vermont ranked No. 12, and Stowe Mountain Resort in Vermont ranked No. 14.

Bretton Woods, New Hampshire’s largest ski area and the top-ranked New England spot on the list, was named the No. 1 ski resort in New Hampshire earlier this year by Boston.com readers.

Bretton Woods will debut a new lift and black diamond glade this season. The resort is replacing its Bethlehem Express Quad (BEQ), a resort staple for more than 35 years, with the new BEQ II lift, a four-person Leitner-Poma detachable quad. The black diamond glade will debut between Upper Swoop and Upper Express.

This year, Conde Nast Traveler readers cast 757,109 votes for the annual awards, determining the very best in hotels, resorts, airlines, and more worldwide. The results will be featured in the magazine’s November issue.
