For those who’d like a side of winter wonderland with their meal this holiday season, two New England restaurants really deliver.

Time Out released a list of the most festive holiday restaurants in America and included Grill 23 & Bar in Boston and Cava Restaurant in Southington, Conn.

“Across the U.S., certain restaurants don’t just decorate, they transform into full-blown winter wonderlands,” wrote Time Out.

Grill 23 & Bar, a Back Bay steakhouse, “blends old-school Boston power-dining with modern luxury,” wrote the publication.

“Wreaths, red bows, greenery and soft golden lights make it feel both festive and sophisticated,” wrote Time Out. “Prime cuts, seafood towers and a killer wine list make for an unforgettable holiday meal.”

Get ready for some serious photo opps at Cava Restaurant, a fine dining Italian restaurant known for its extravagant decor, wrote the publication (diners enjoy several themed rooms, including an “OZmas” dining room inspired by “Wicked”).

“Each dining space is meticulously transformed, from shimmering snowflake tunnels to Santa’s workshop scenes,” wrote Time Out. “Themes change each year, but guaranteed are thousands of lights, giant wreaths and decked out Christmas trees. The menu keeps it elegant with dishes like seafood risotto and lamb chops.”
