Sheraton Boston is celebrating its 60th anniversary with a new look.

The four-star Back Bay hotel just underwent a $100 million renovation, which included a refresh of its lobby, guest rooms, dining, and meeting spaces.

“Over the decades, the hotel has evolved into a space for connection — a warm, inviting location where people naturally come together for meetings & events, celebrations, and leisure time,” said Dan Kakabeeke, general manager of Sheraton Boston, in a statement. “This renovation honors our legacy while reimagining every area to help guests feel comfortable and fully present so they can effortlessly enjoy all that Boston has to offer.”

The redesigned lobby, full of warm woods, was inspired by Boston’s historic taverns and has a variety of seating options including its signature Community Tables. Those seeking more privacy can sit in The Booths, which are soundproof alcoves.

The reimagined guest rooms and suites — many with views of the Boston skyline or the Charles River — are residential-inspired and feature a neutral color palette and contemporary furnishings.

The Studios, located adjacent to the lobby, is a collection of flexible, private rooms for gatherings and meetings. There is both lounge seating and boardroom seating and a dedicated gaming room for entertaining children.

The hotel’s pool deck — with panoramic views of the Prudential Center — has a retractable roof, private cabanas, lounge chairs, and a sun deck. Guests can order from a curated pool deck menu, and the food is delivered to their lounge chair beside what’s billed as Boston’s largest hotel lap pool.

For guests in the mood for a workout, a new 24-hour fitness studio features state-of-the-art cardio and weight training equipment, including TRX.

Hungry travelers can eat at the hotel’s restaurant Henderson at Sheraton Boston or grab food from &More by Sheraton, a hotel market with coffee, pastries, sandwiches, and more. Sheraton Boston’s culinary team is overseen by Executive Chef Joe Florio.

Sheraton Boston has 70,000 square feet of event space, including five ballrooms and several breakout rooms, which have all been redesigned.
