A Boston hotel is among the 10 best in the U.S., according to Tripadvisor users

A Boston hotel in a prime location is a standout nationwide, according to Tripadvisor users.

The Needham-based travel site released a list of top 25 hotels in the U.S. on Tuesday, part of its Travelers’ Choice Awards: Best of the Best Hotels, and The Godfrey Hotel Boston ranked No. 6. It is located in Downtown Crossing, steps from shopping, restaurants, and theaters.

Here is what Tripadvisor wrote about The Godfrey Hotel Boston:

The Godfrey Hotel Boston sits in a prime spot with easy access to transportation—and the city’s top sights. Stylish accommodations are full of modern amenities and charming decor, and there’s a fitness center for guests to use when the workout bug hits. Grab a bite at the hotel’s restaurant, where excellent service and complimentary snacks await.

Another Boston hotel, The Whitney Hotel, ranked No. 25 on the list.

Tripadvisor’s Travelers’ Choice Best of the Best Hotel winners are chosen based on the quality and quantity of traveler reviews and ratings posted on Tripadvisor between Jan. 1 and Dec. 31, 2024. The winners are among the top one percent of the 1.6 million hotel listings on Tripadvisor.
