These New England adult summer camps will let you relive your childhood

Camp No Counselors 

This spring, Camp No Counselors is calling a lush 200-acre peninsula in Winslow, Maine, its “Boston camp.” From May 27 to 30, adults will take over the newly renovated cabins at an existing camp that’s been around since 1923.

The grounds feature state-of-the-art athletic facilities and lakefront views. Camp is all-inclusive (read: like a Sandals with Slip ‘n Slides) featuring hearty breakfasts (eggs, bacon, pancakes, Bloody Mary’s), and lunches and dinners that offer a more grownup take on camp classics like baby back ribs, rosemary skirt steak, and fish tacos.

You’ll spend your days doing fun physical activities—or choose to catch some rays lakeside—and your evenings at themed parties. With an open bar all weekend, you may need a vacation from your vacation.

Club Getaway

This camp in Kent, Conn., features numerous adult and family weekend options highlighted by a mid-summer “young professional 20- and 30-something” weekend featuring water balloons all day and partying all night.

You’ll spend your days hiking, biking, zip lining, or swimming, and your nights at the Boathouse Club.

The cabins are renovated and air-conditioned, a welcome upgrade. All meals—including an upscale breakfast buffet and lunches with carving stations—wine with dinner, and sports and activities are included, too.
