Bring your family to an interactive reading of the beloved holiday classic “Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer.’’

Citi Performing Arts Center’s Education Team will be hosting interactive readings of the holiday classic “Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer’’ every Saturday before Christmas at Quincy’s Place in Faneuil Hall Marketplace. This is no ordinary story-telling experience. The 60-minute session is led by Citi Center’s Teaching Artist Jeremy Gooden and features props, singing, and audience participation. A family-friendly program, Interactive Readings is geared at children of all ages—in particular those from 3 to 10 years old. Antlers: From Fairy Tales to the Spirit World, through Dec. 31, True North Gallery, South Hamilton

This year’s True North Gallery’s winter show showcases deer.

Check out the paintings, etchings, carvings, and other work of more than 25 local, national, and international artists.

Support local artists such as Timothy Neill of Hamilton, who created an oil painting of a leaping deer, Mike Foley of Gloucester, who completed a marble carving of an antler, and Michael Updike of Newbury, who made a carving of a stag on vintage roofing slate.
