Skydiving Not Intense Enough? Add a Slip ‘N’ Slide

If you’re jumping out of a plane but want something to really get your adrenaline going, you might want to consider adding some slippery summer fun to your plummeting-to-earth activities.

Niklas Daniel and Brianne Thompson, the two skydivers in the video, decided to do just that in Arizona this week when they set up a 200-foot slip ‘n’ slide on the ground and jumped out of a plane 5,000 feet above it.

According to the video description, both pulled their parachutes almost immediately, “made a near vertical descent,’’ and hit the slip ‘n’ slide at approximately 50 miles per hour.

Humanity’s endless pursuit of the newest adrenaline high usually seems insane, but this is actually a pretty amazing idea, plus a great way to cool off this summer.
