Olympic history on display in Lake Placid

The attraction isn’t housed in a large space, but what it lacks in square footage, the Lake Placid Olympic Museum makes up in the amount of history it boasts, an impressive collection of Olympic artifacts from the 1932 and 1980 Winter Olympic Games, both held in the cozy town in upstate New York. Check out some of the items on hand.

The entrance to the hockey rink, where the “Miracle on Ice’’ took place in 1980. The arena also houses a second rink that was used during the 1932 Games.
