Statue of Liberty to reopen
It’s official: July Fourth is reopening day for the Statue of Liberty, and the National Park Service is expanding its schedule of daily harbor tours. Park rangers will be onboard every Statue Cruises vessel to interact with visitors on each hourlong sail that also includes Ellis Island, the 9/11 Memorial, the South Street Seaport, Governors Island, and the Brooklyn Bridge. Boats depart from Battery Park at the foot of Manhattan every 30 minutes, seven days a week. Avoid ticket lines by booking online. Adults $24, seniors $17, children $12, age 4 and under free. 201-604-2800, www.statuecruises.com
