A family bike trip from Montreal to Boston

Last May, the Globe’s own Bennie DiNardo and his family took a 400-mile cycling trip from Montreal to Boston. Check out these awesome images from the weeklong journey.

On day five of their journey, DiNardo and his family stopped by downtown Chester, Vt., an artsy little town reminiscent of Oak Bluffs and its Victorian cottages.

While in Chester, DiNardo and his family stopped for lunch at the Moon Dog Cafe, which boasts a well-stocked juice bar, vegan soups, and salads.
