The Pump House in Jay, Vt.

The Pump House, Vermont’s first indoor water park, opened in 2011 as part of Jay Peak Resort’s ongoing expansion. The park features four water slides, including the thrilling “La Chute,’’ as well as a lazy river, and a surfing pool. It is clearly unlike anything else in Vermont’s Northeast Kingdom.

Great Wolf Lodge, which owns properties in 11 other locations, opened a hotel/water park in Fitchburg in June. The new lodge features a water park that’s more than 68,000 square feet, with a wave pool, slides, lazy river, a bowling alley, motion thrill ride, and more.
But there are other places around New England that offer indoor water parks as well. We tell you where to go.

Admission to The Pump House is $35 for adults, $25 for juniors ages 4-14. Children under three are free.
