Safari West is located a few miles north of downtown Santa Rosa, less than two hours from San Francisco and a short drive from the Napa Valley town of Calistoga, famed for its mud baths.

The tours consist of approximately 45 minutes of walking and two hours in a safari vehicle. Reservations are required. For non-overnight guests, rates are adults $68-$78 (depending on season), children ages 3-12 $30, under 3 $15.
Safari West Luxury Tents
Rates range from $200-$315 per night, double occupancy ($25 each additional guest).
Safari West also has a two-bedroom, four-person cottage with kitchenette for $350 per night. Continental breakfast included.
A barbecue ranch-style lunch is served at noon (adult $15, child $12) and dinner is at 6:30 p.m. (adult $29, child $17). Reservations are required at least 72 hours in advance for meals. There is also a small snack bar.
