Killington to open tomorrow
Killington will open for the 2010-11 season tomorrow with upper mountain skiing and riding in the North Ridge area. No beginner terrain will be available.
The resort becomes the first in Vermont to open for the season, and second in the East. Maine’s Sunday River opened for a three-day stretch beginning on Oct. 22, but has since been forced to suspend operations due to temperatures not conducive to snowmaking.
Lift tickets will be at the early-season rate of $49.
