After an extensive 10-minute analysis of the forecasts for the mountains this weekend…
I reckon that we may be looking at a powder day on Friday (11/23)!
Depending your local, 2 to 8 inches. Safe November bet.
Honestly, this is the best Thanksgiving weekend for skiing/riding we have seen in New England in a long, very long time.

The Call: Go for seconds (who cares about the late game on the NFL network) and ski in the morning.
Sticking to the snowmaking trails for a half dozen early runs will get your head in check for the season.
Bored at work: This is all I got, enjoy and Happy Thanksgiving.

Cannon Mountain Opens Friday
Franconia Notch, NH – Cannon Mountain will kick off the 2007-2008 season on Friday, November 23, 2007. The mountain plans to offer terrain for all ability levels for the weekend. Skiers/riders will find man-made and natural snow conditions on groomed and ungroomed terrain. Cannon has received over a foot of snow since Friday.
