Snag these Logan Airport deals for travel in 2022 on Travel Deal Tuesday
Interest in international travel has increased, according to Hopper.
For travelers booking that “bucket list” trip, it’s a great time to save money on a 2022 getaway, according to Lindsay Schwimer, consumer travel expert at flight tracker app Hopper.
Travel Deal Tuesday, taking place Nov. 30, offers more deals than Black Friday and Cyber Monday combined, she said.
“The big thing we’re going to see is people starting to travel internationally again,” Schwimer said. “Not being able to take those bigger vacations, especially the bigger bucket list international trips, over the past year and a half, travelers are really eager to get back out there in 2022.”
Hopper, which has an office in Boston, detects an average of 34 deals per second on Travel Deal Tuesday, which is 30 percent more than usual, according to the company.
Schwimer noted that international travel searches are 54 percent higher than they were this time last year.
“We’re seeing great deals expected from Boston this year, particularly to popular international destinations,” Schwimer said.
Deals out of Logan International Airport on Tuesday, Schwimer said, will include round-trip flights to New York City for $68; Miami for $186; San Juan, Puerto Rico for $283; Cancun, Mexico for $366; Hawaii Island, Hawaii for $525; Venice, Italy for $674; and Malé, Maldives for $1,320.
Travelers should keep an eye on Aer Lingus, Icelandair, and Turkish Airlines, all expected to offer deals, Schwimer said. She said U.S. airlines usually offer deals as well.
