This week, I’m also writing about the safest airlines for 2026, Boston’s Frostival (complete with a Ferris wheel ride), a Parade of Lights in New Hampshire, a one-day flash sale at Great Wolf Lodge, and more.

The 30-room Briar Barn Inn in Rowley was just named a rural hideaway great for a Valentine’s Day getaway by The Hotel Guru in a worldwide list. With fireplaces and four-poster beds, a spa, and an on-site restaurant, the hotel is the perfect recipe for a romantic escape, according to the ranking.
