Guests at the oceanfront Newport Beach Hotel & Suites this season can retire to remodeled rooms after a scenic soak in the rooftop hot tub.

The historic 45-room gambrel-style building, located steps from the area’s iconic Easton’s Beach, has unveiled new guest rooms as part of a multi-phase renovation project. The property is part of the Intera Collection of TPG Hotels & Resorts.

Guests can stay in the Suites Building or the Historic Building, the latter of which is where the recent renovations took place. The Suites Building, adjacent to the Historic Building, features luxury one- and two-bedroom suites.

The Historic Building rooms were made over by ABI Interior Design, which is headquartered in Warwick, R.I. The company chose “beige and blue tones popular within contemporary New England beachside interiors,” according to the property’s website.
