The New Hampshire Seacoast isn’t just for trips to the beach in the summertime.

Restaurant Week Portsmouth & the Seacoast returns Nov. 2-11, and the timing couldn’t be better. With the New Hampshire mountains peaking with colorful foliage and the harvest’s bounty filling tables, Restaurant Week offers a quintessential autumn-in-New-England experience.

More than 40 restaurants and breweries from Portsmouth, Dover, Hampton, New Castle, Rye and Exeter, New Hampshire, as well as Kittery, Maine are participating, creating special prix fixe menus highlighting the flavors of the season.

In fact, the area is known for its culinary scene.

“Despite being a small city (slightly more than 20,000 people), the quaint New Hampshire seaport is home to some of the region’s best dining,” writes Zagat Boston.

Restaurant Week three-course, prix-fixe menus will be offered at $16.95 for lunch and $29.95 for dinner per person. Fair warning: This is the Seacoast’s most popular culinary event of the season, so space will fill up quickly. Visit Portsmouth Restaurant Week’s website to pick your restaurants and make your reservations.
