Fodor’s Travel calls this Vermont apple orchard ‘dreamy’ and says you’ll never want to leave
Shelburne Orchards received high praise from the publication.
New England has plenty of scenic apple orchards that are full of ripe fruit, sweet treats, and fun fall activities, but one in particular was just called downright “dreamy” by Fodor’s Travel.
The publication named Shelburne Orchards in Shelburne, Vermont, among a nationwide list of “11 dreamy apple orchards you never want to leave,” posted on Thursday. It was the only New England entry on the list.
“Now on its second generation, Shelburne Orchards harvests apples from around 6,000 trees and 90 percent of those apples — farmed using organic practices — are sold at the farm,” Fodor’s wrote. “Bring your palate because it’s not just apples you’ll bite into — try cider donuts and pies, too — along with sippable treats in the tasting room, like ginger cider and apple brandy (called Dead Bird Brandy).”
