An iconic castle-inspired hotel along the Mass. Turnpike in Framingham has entered a new era.

After a multi-year renovation, the former Sheraton Framingham Hotel & Conference Center is now The Framingham Hotel Collection, the first Marriott Bonvoy tri-brand hotel collection in the Northeast and one of only a few worldwide.

The Framingham Hotel Collection is a three-hotel campus comprised of the Renaissance Framingham Hotel & Conference Center, Fairfield Inn & Suites Framingham, and TownPlace Suites Framingham, totaling 371 guest rooms and suites.

“We are proud to expand our partnership with Marriott and elevate this landmark as Renaissance Framingham Hotel & Conference Center and The Framingham Hotel Collection,” said Stephanie Paschal, regional director of sales for Portsmouth, N.H.-based hotel management company Colwen Hotels, in a statement. “Housing three distinct brands in one destination allows us to serve guests and groups with incredible flexibility while honoring the castle’s legacy in MetroWest and the greater Boston area.”

The property includes more than 25,000 square feet of meeting, wedding, and conference spaces for events ranging from intimate board meetings to 1,000-person galas.
