A walkable, scenic coastal city in Maine is perfect for an Easter escape, according to Booking.com.
Portland was recently named among 15 unforgettable Easter weekend trips across the U.S. by the digital travel company. Easter weekend, taking place this year April 3-6, is one of the best travel weekends of the year, according to Booking.com.
“Easter weekend is a traveler’s sweet spot,” wrote Booking.com. “Easter weekend is one of those rare travel windows that works for almost everyone. Families get festive events, couples get shoulder-season calm, and road trippers get peak scenery without summer crowds.”
Five destinations on the list, including Portland, would make a great Easter weekend road trip, wrote Booking.com.
