Downtown Andover looks a bit different this month.

The town’s pedestrian-friendly Main Street, full of boutique shops, restaurants, and a historic Old Town Hall, is dotted with dozens of colorful scarecrows.

The Andover Coalition for Education (ACE) is hosting its 13th Annual Scarecrow Festival, with more than 90 scarecrows on display on Main Street. The theme of this year’s festival is “Every Scarecrow has a Story.”

The scarecrows are designed by local schools, businesses, and families and raise money for district-wide education programs and grants. There are several levels of sponsorship and the program has raised more than $30,000, according to the Andover Townsman.
