Beer lovers can extend their sudsy stay at brewery hotels across the nation, and New England has three of the best, according to USA Today.
The publication recently released a list of the 8 best brewery hotels that every beer lover needs to visit and included Woodstock Inn Brewery in Woodstock, N.H.; Trapp Family Lodge in Stowe, Vermont; and Northern Outdoors’ Kennebec River Pub & Brewery in The Forks in Maine.
“Brewery hotels are the ultimate overnight basecamp for beer lovers,” according to USA Today. “Hopheads can dive deep into the barrel when they stay at a hotel with a strong beer connection, whether it has a working brewery on-site or is located in a former brewery.”
At New Hampshire’s Woodstock Inn Brewery, the White Mountains getaway is perfect for hikers and skiers and travelers experience “cozy overnight accommodations so close to the brewery that the smell of malt acts as a lullaby,” USA Today wrote.
Vermont’s Trapp Family Lodge, owned by the family who inspired “The Sound of Music,” specializes in authentic Austrian-style lagers, according to USA Today, and guests enjoy Green Mountain vistas and plenty of outdoor activities.
At Northern Outdoors, a rustic Maine resort that attracts snowmobilers and whitewater rafters, the Kennebec River Pub & Brewery serves beers that use Maine-grown malt and carbonate naturally in kegs, USA Today wrote.
