Memorial Day weekend meant plenty of grilling out, backyard parties, and for some Bostonians, a trip to a lake house up north or a beach house down south. For Patriots players Rob Gronkowski and Julian Edelman, it meant partying it up during the 45th annual Figawi sailing race in one of Massachusetts’ nicest vacation spots: Nantucket.
Even without the presence of Gronk or Edelman, local restaurants were no doubt packed as locals and visitors alike took in the gorgeous waves and ultra-sleek boats. But which eateries were the most popular?
Thanks to data from check-in app Swarm, we were able to find out which restaurants people checked into the most in Nantucket from Wednesday, May 25 to Tuesday, May 31.
For those unfamiliar, Swarm is an app from Foursquare that lets users check in when they visit locations like restaurants, bars, and parks. The app also makes every day a game with perks like coins and mayorships, and lets users keep track of streaks and places they’ve been with an updated profile tab.
