Another airline is adding service between Boston and Calgary next year
The service begins May 14.
Two days after Montreal-based Air Canada announced it will offer seasonal nonstop service between Boston and Calgary in 2020, Calgary-based WestJet said it will do the same.

WestJet announced Thursday that it will launch a seasonal daily service between the Canadian city and Boston on May 14, 2020.
“Fantastic routes need fantastic schedules and WestJet is offering guests convenient flight times between our extensive hub out of Calgary and the capital of Massachusetts,” said Arved von zur Muehlen, chief commercial officer for WestJet, in a press release. “While other carriers may fly the route, WestJet continues to build our schedule for the region’s business and leisure travelers. It’s never been easier to explore and do business in Calgary, Boston, and beyond.”
The WestJet flight will leave Logan International Airport at 5 p.m. and arrive in Calgary at 8 p.m. The flight from Calgary will leave at 9:45 a.m. and arrive in Boston at 4:15 p.m.
The Air Canada service begins June 22.
