Virgin Atlantic is offering a new daily flight from Boston to London
UK travelers, this one's for you.
Boston travelers looking to visit Big Ben now have another way to get there.
Virgin Atlantic launched a new service on Monday from Logan International Airport to Heathrow Airport in London, leaving daily at 8:15 a.m. The service will operate on an Airbus A330-300 aircraft, and passengers can choose between Upper Class, Premium, Economy Delight, Classic, and Light cabins.
“Boston is Virgin Atlantic’s second largest gateway to the U.S. after New York, and the airline is investing heavily in this powerhouse city,” said Yuli Thompson, vice president of North America at Virgin Atlantic, in a statement. “Our customers have asked for more frequency to London, and we are proud to be able to deliver this new schedule, which meets their needs.”
Additionally, Virgin Atlantic announced last June that it would increase its service from Boston to Manchester, England, to three times a week beginning May 22.
