Six Flags New England is rolling out a new haunted maze during its annual Fright Fest celebration this fall.
Fright Fest, billed as “New England’s largest haunt event,” features more than 20 attractions, live entertainment, themed areas, and haunted mazes. This year, the 200-acre Agawam park added a new haunted maze called Camp Killamore, for a total of five haunted mazes. The returning four mazes are: Nightmares, Terror Tales, Slasher Circus 3D, and Midnight Mansion.
Here’s how the park described Camp Killamore: “Guests will step into the eerie Camp Killamore Summer Camp where once innocent campers have mysteriously acquired a thirst for terror. Guests will traverse through these twisted trails to try and survive the campers’ rampage.”
The park is also adding a new family-friendly musical called “Love at First Fright,” which will be performed at the Rockville Theater. The story follows social media influencers who are captured by monsters as they attempt to create viral Halloween content. Previous shows returning this year include Midnight Uprising, The Awakening, Mort’s Used Coffins, and more.
Six Flags New England does not recommend kids under age 12 attend the park after 6 p.m. for Fright Fest. However, young kids can enjoy daytime fun during Kids Boo Fest which is filled with not-so-scary activities such as a hay maze, Trick-or-Treat Trail, pumpkin patch, crafts, Boo’s Monster Maze, and a Halloween costume showcase.
Fright Fest begins Sept. 21 and runs through Nov. 3.
