Travelers at Logan Airport on Tuesday are facing delays and cancellations after Monday’s nor’easter that affected much of the Northeast.
The blizzard brought high winds and power outages and dropped more than 3 feet of snow on areas of New England. Logan Airport recorded 16.9 inches of snow, according to the National Weather Service, and wind speeds in Boston reached 68 mph.
“As flights resume on Tuesday, passengers are reminded that there will be delays as the region digs out from the storm,” wrote officials on the Massport website. “We encourage everyone to check their flights status before coming to the airport and give yourself extra time to get here safely.”
According to flight tracking service FlightAware, there were 454 cancellations and 51 delays at Logan at 10 a.m. Tuesday.
Ed Freni, Massport’s executive director for aviation, told ABC News that Logan would likely not be back to a full schedule until Wednesday.
Some airlines are waiving fees due to the storm. For example, JetBlue, a leading carrier at Logan, posted in an alert: “We will waive change/cancel fees and fare differences for customers traveling on JetBlue operated flights Sunday, February 22, through Thursday, February 26, 2026.”
