As temperatures dip across New England, JetBlue is helping New Englanders escape the cold for less money with a sale inspired by the region’s forecast.
The airline, a leading carrier at Logan International Airport, launched a three-day sale on Wednesday that takes 15% off nonstop flights at three New England airports and five New York airports through Jan. 30 based on the weather.
“Between Wednesday 1/28 and Friday 1/30, we will review the forecasted low temperature for New York City and Boston before 10:00 a.m. ET each day,” wrote JetBlue officials on the airline’s website. “If either city is expected to reach 15°F or lower, the WARMUP15 promo code will be activated for that day”
Both cities are facing daily temperatures through Friday that drop below 15 degrees.
The reduced airfare is good for travel through March 11. Travelers should note that the discount applies to base fare only and and excludes Friday and Sunday travel. Also, the discount is not valid during the blackout dates of Feb. 12-23.
JetBlue customers can snag the deal at the following New England airports: Logan Airport, Manchester-Boston Regional Airport, and Rhode Island T.F. Green International Airport.
Travelers can also get the deal at the following airports in New York: John F. Kennedy International Airport, LaGuardia Airport, Newark Liberty International Airport, Long Island MacArthur Airport, and Westchester County Airport.
Interested travelers must use the code WARMUP15 when booking on jetblue.com and the code may be used multiple times.
