A massive winter storm, the largest to hit Massachusetts in years, is impacting travelers at Logan Airport on Monday.
Thousands of flights have been delayed and cancelled across the U.S., including in Boston. The National Weather Service reported 18.6 inches of snow at Logan Airport.
By 9:30 a.m. on Monday, there were 1,655 flight delays and 3,921 cancellations in the U.S., according to flight tracking service FlightAware. At Logan Airport, there were 47 delays and 508 cancellations.
Logan Airport posted the following weather advisory Monday morning:
Due to winter storm clean up, few airlines are operating at Logan today. Please check with your airline before coming to the airport. The airport is expected to be mostly back to a normal schedule Tuesday. Check flight status: https://t.co/ZQB5Bt435l pic.twitter.com/LlauM0Pv46

Airlines are allowing itinerary changes and waiving fees for travelers arriving and departing from Logan Airport.
Passengers can use the FlyLogan App to view their flight status.
