Boston travelers will have another way of getting to Nantucket for summer fun in 2026.
American Airlines is adding two domestic routes from Logan Airport next summer: to Nantucket and Madison, Wisconsin, the airline announced on Thursday.
The destinations are part of an expansion next summer that includes 15 U.S. routes, seven of which are from Phoenix. American is also adding service to Lincoln, Nebraska.
Both the Nantucket and Madison routes begin on June 18 and operate daily. The Madison route will be offered year round, while the Nantucket route is a seasonal route that ends on Sept. 8. Travelers will fly on an Embraer E175.
“American is proud to offer unmatched connectivity across the United States. Today, we’re furthering our commitment with new routes designed to help customers realize their travel goals in 2026 from important hubs such as Chicago and Phoenix,” said Brian Znotins, senior vice president of network and schedule planning for American, in a statement.
