JetBlue will bring Boston travelers to new destinations in Italy and Spain in 2026, the airline announced on Wednesday.

The airline, a leading carrier in Boston, will begin daily summer seasonal service from Logan International Airport to Barcelona, Spain beginning on April 15 and to Milan, Italy beginning on May 11.

Travelers will fly on JetBlue’s A321 aircraft, which features JetBlue’s Mint premium experience with fully lie-flat private suites and restaurant-style small plates.

JetBlue called the destinations two of Europe’s most iconic cities because of their “vibrant culture, world-class cuisine, and the stunning landscapes of the Mediterranean and the Alps.”

“As we expand our New England footprint with new service from Boston to Barcelona and Milan, we’re bringing more travelers the elevated service that has redefined transatlantic air travel, including our award-winning Mint premium experience,” said Joanna Geraghty, chief executive officer of JetBlue, in a statement. “Customers flying to Europe with JetBlue enjoy the kind of thoughtful design, privacy, and hospitality they simply won’t find with legacy carriers, and we’re proud to continue delivering incredible value and style on both sides of the Atlantic.”

With the additional routes, JetBlue will fly 77 nonstop destinations and serve nine European airports from Boston. Other transatlantic service from Boston includes year-round service to London Heathrow, Paris, and Amsterdam, and summer seasonal service to Dublin, Edinburgh, London Gatwick, and Madrid.
