Get $49 one-way flights on Southwest during this limited-time sale

Travelers planning fall or winter trips may save money this week when booking with Southwest.

Southwest launched a three-day “Great Escape Sale” on Tuesday, with one-way fares as low as $49. The sale runs through Sept. 18 at 11:59 p.m. PT and is good for continental U.S. travel between Oct. 7 and March 4, 2026.

Deals out of Boston’s Logan International Airport include one-way $84 flights to Norfolk and Richmond, Virginia; $89 flights to Atlanta; $96 flights to Baltimore; $119 to Jacksonville, Fla.; $140 to Cincinnati; $149 to Steamboat Springs, Colo.; and more.

The deal is good for continental U.S. travel on Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays. Travelers should note that blackout dates for continental U.S. travel apply: Nov. 21, Nov. 25-26, Nov. 29 to Dec. 1, Dec. 19-20, Dec. 26-29, Jan. 2-4, and Feb. 16.

The fares apply to nonstop service where indicated. If nonstop service is not indicated, the sale applies to single connecting service.

Tickets must be purchased 21 days in advance of the trip, and prices include all U.S. and international government taxes and fees.

Seats, travel days, and markets are limited.
