JetBlue launched seasonal service between Boston and one of the world’s top 2025 destinations on Thursday.

The airline is now operating a three times weekly service to Traverse City, Mich., calling the destination “one of the best-kept summer secrets.” Traverse City made the list of 10 best places to go in 2025 by The Wall Street Journal.

The flight will operate on Thursdays, Saturdays, and Sundays through Oct. 25. Travelers will fly on JetBlue’s A220 aircraft from Logan Airport to Cherry Capital Airport.

“Pristine lakes, dune-lined shores, vineyards, orchards, and picturesque small towns are just a few of the things that make this area special,” according to the Cherry Capital Airport website.

“Traverse City might be one of the best-kept summer secrets, and JetBlue is excited to make it more accessible to travelers,” said David Jehn, vice president network plan and airline partnerships at JetBlue, in a statement. “This new route reflects our commitment to connecting more people to unique and underserved destinations.”

The flight leaves Boston at 9:40 a.m. and arrives in Traverse City at 11:56 a.m. The return flight leaves Traverse City at 10:45 p.m. and arrives at Boston at 2:47 p.m.

“By adding Traverse City to our map, we’re not only opening the door for New Englanders to discover Northern Michigan’s natural beauty but also giving locals easier access to Boston and JetBlue’s broader network,” said Jehn.
