The airline industry announced hundreds of new U.S. flights in 2024, and a Boston route is one of the most exciting for 2025, according to The Points Guy.

The travel website recently released a list of the 13 most exciting new airline routes for 2025 and included a new nonstop seasonal route from Boston’s Logan Airport to Edinburgh, Scotland. JetBlue announced the new route earlier this month, and service will begin in May.

David Slotnick, a contributing editor for The Points Guy, wrote this, in part, about the route:

Edinburgh, and Scotland more broadly, is perhaps my favorite place in the world. … I’m always thrilled to see it easier to get there from the U.S., and JetBlue’s latest seasonal European flight will be the only one connecting my current hometown to the Scottish capital with nonstop service. I’m looking forward to taking it when it starts next spring and can’t wait for my first visit in a few years!

Travelers will fly on JetBlue’s A321-aircraft, which has 24 Mint suites and carries 138 passengers. The Edinburgh route is now available for booking on jetblue.com.
