JetBlue’s first-ever airport lounges are coming to New York and Boston.

JetBlue’s first lounge will open in New York in late 2025, with a Boston lounge opening “soon after,” the airline announced on Thursday. The lounge will be located in Terminal C at Logan International Airport. JetBlue is Logan Airport’s largest carrier.

The 11,000 square-foot Boston lounge will offer “an elevated yet inviting retreat where customers can play, work, and lounge,” according to JetBlue. The lounge at New York’s John F. Kennedy International Airport will be 8,000 square feet. The airline says the lounges meet the growing demand for premium offerings.

Passengers can relax in the lounge with complimentary food and alcoholic or non-alcoholic beverages. There will be a full-service bar and comfortable seating areas. For those who need to work, private workspaces with fast and free WiFi will be available.

“Customers have asked for a JetBlue lounge for years and we can’t wait to unveil our take in New York and Boston,” said Marty St. George, president of JetBlue, in a statement. “Lounges have become an essential offering for the growing numbers of customers seeking premium experiences, and JetBlue’s lounges will further boost the value of our TrueBlue loyalty program as we expand our portfolio of JetBlue credit cards.”

The lounges will be reserved primarily for the carrier’s most loyal customers and premium credit cardmembers.

JetBlue’s lounges will be complimentary for TrueBlue Mosaic 4 members, transatlantic Mint customers, and travelers with the new premium JetBlue credit card, which the airline says it will launch soon. Eligible passengers can also buy day passes, guest passes, and annual passes.

As of Sept. 6, JetBlue customers in the airline’s cheapest fare class can bring a carry-on bag for free. Over the summer, the airline announced a major expansion in New England. Also over the summer, Boston.com readers shared how they feel about flying JetBlue.
