Parents planning a European vacation with the kids this fall can save money with low-cost airline PLAY.
On Tuesday, the airline launched a deal for its littlest travelers. When parents and caregivers book roundtrip flights on select dates between September and December to Amsterdam, Berlin, Copenhagen, Dublin, Iceland, Liverpool, London, or Paris they can get $2 airfare for children under the age of 11. The deal ends Sept. 17.
The airline calls the deal a “win-win for parents and kids” in a press release, noting that families can spend the money saved on excursions, tours, and meals during their trip.
“International travel is a way to both bring families together and expose children to new cultures, foods, and experiences,” said PLAY CEO Einar Orn Olafsson, in a statement. “Families with young children can’t always make it across the Atlantic with high travel costs, and PLAY designed this deal to welcome families to our flights to travel together and make memories in Iceland and other amazing destinations.”
What’s more, travelers can enjoy stopovers in Iceland for up to 10 days for no additional cost, according to the airline.
The deal is good for the lowest PLAY basic fare per person per one-way flight when booking a roundtrip flight to the previously mentioned destinations. The sale applies to trips taken Sept. 29 to Oct. 6; Oct. 8-20; Oct. 22 to Nov. 3; and Nov. 5 to Dec. 13.
Prices are subject to availability and taxes, fees, and carrier charges are not included. Restrictions and baggage fees apply.
PLAY flights are available from the airline’s four U.S. destinations: Logan International Airport, Baltimore/Washington International Thurgood Marshall Airport, New York Stewart International Airport, and Dulles International Airport.
