Southwest is celebrating its birthday with one-way fares as low as $53

The sale ends Thursday.

Southwest is celebrating its birthday by launching a three-day sale on airfare.

The Dallas-based carrier is offering one-way flights as low as $53 in honor of its 53rd birthday.

The discounted fares are available June 18-20 and are good for travel in the continental U.S. from Aug. 6 to Dec. 18 on Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays.

Deals out of Boston’s Logan International Airport include one-way $69 flights to Nashville and Chicago; $73 to Miami; $78 to Charleston; $83 to Baltimore; $93 to Pittsburgh; $98 to Orlando; $123 to Seattle; $133 to Las Vegas; $128 to San Francisco; and more.

The fares apply to nonstop service where indicated. If nonstop service is not indicated, the sale applies to single connecting service.

The following blackout dates apply in the continental U.S.: Sept. 2, Oct. 14, Nov. 22-27, and Nov. 29-Dec. 2.

The deal is also good for travel between Aug. 20 and Nov. 20 for international travel and trips to Hawaii and San Juan, Puerto Rico on Tuesdays and Wednesdays. Also, Sept. 3 is a blackout date for travel to and from international destinations and Hawaii and San Juan, Puerto Rico. Orange County travel is not included.

Seats and markets are limited and prices include all U.S. and international government taxes and fees.

Travelers are allowed two complimentary checked bags on Southwest.
