A New England pizzeria dished up a side of star power over the weekend.
Actress Anna Kendrick, who is from Portland, Maine, visited Frank Pepe Pizzeria Napoletana in New Haven, Conn. The “Pitch Perfect” actress ordered three pies.
The business, known for its apizza, couldn’t resist a play on words in its Facebook post about the visit, writing, “Her pie was pitch perfect, just ask Anna Kendrick.”
When fans of the pizzeria asked what the actress ate, the business listed her order: “the Margherita, the Original Tomato Pie, and the White Clam Pizza.”
“She’s a New England girl, she knows good pizza,” wrote Mary Sanderlin on the Facebook post.
The pizzeria first started serving pizza in 1925 in New Haven and now has 17 locations nationwide — eight in Connecticut, three in Massachusetts, two in Florida, and one in Rhode Island, New York, Maryland, and Virginia.
