Lady Gaga recently stopped for ice cream at a Maine spot

She was in town for a very special occasion.

Lady Gaga arrived at the Oscars in 2023.

Lada Gaga avoided the paparazzi during a recent trip to Maine with a little help from a local ice cream stand.

The Grammy-winning singer was in York for her sister Natali Germanotta’s wedding earlier this month.

While in town, the A-lister stopped at Dunne’s Ice Cream for a sweet treat and ordered a small chocolate walnut, owner Steve Dunne told seacoastonline.com.

The celebrity was trying to keep a low profile, Dunne said in the report, so he kept quiet about her visit.

“We felt like we would respect that for them rather than blow it all up,” Dunne said.

Gaga’s family rented out the nearby Viewpoint Hotel in York for the wedding, a picturesque oceanfront getaway and wedding venue with views of Nubble Lighthouse, according to The Sun.

La Maison Gaga, a Lady Gaga fashion blog, posted photos of the singer decked out for the special occasion.

Gaga was with her boyfriend, Dunne told the publication.

Michael Polansky, a Harvard grad, has been dating Lady Gaga since 2020, according to Harper’s Bazaar.

“She said it was nice to be a normal person here in York, Maine,” Dunne told the publication.

After the wedding weekend was over, the ice cream stand thanked her for visiting in a Facebook post.

Facebook friends of the business applauded the owner’s discretion and had some fun with possible ice cream names he could implement after her visit, suggesting “paparazzberry” and “Gaga for Chocolate(Walnut).”
