Travelers looking for a bed & breakfast that’s chock-full of charm will score big at a historic Cape Cod getaway in Brewster, according to Tripadvisor users.

The Candleberry Inn was recently named the best bed & breakfast in America and No. 7 in the world by Tripadvisor users. The inn topped the Needham-based travel website’s Travelers’ Choice Awards for Hotels due to its high volume of rave reviews and opinions from the Tripadvisor community.

Travelers at the nine-room inn, listed on the National Register of Historic Places, stay in the Georgian Federal-style Main House, built in the late 18th century, or in the property’s Carriage House, which has a more “eclectic and beach cottage kind of feel.”

“At Candleberry Inn, it is our goal to delight and surprise you during your Cape Cod getaway,” owners Marco and Angelo wrote on the B&Bs website. “It’s what’s at the top of our minds as we plan meals, appoint rooms, and provide for all of your Cape Cod wishes while you stay with us. Hospitality and service are what we truly love most about being innkeepers.”
