These Cape Cod resorts are getting a $40 million makeover ahead of the 2024 season
The renovations will be complete in May.
Vacationers at Red Jacket Resorts on the shores of Cape Cod are getting an upgrade this summer.
The company is spending $40 million on renovations at three of its five South Yarmouth-based oceanfront hotels: Red Jacket Beach Resort, Riviera Beach Resort, and Blue Water Resort. The renovations, the first phase of a collection-wide renovation, will be completed in May.
Guests can expect changes to nearly 400 guest rooms, as well as restaurants, lobbies, pool experiences, beachfront amenities, and more.
The Red Jacket Resorts portfolio was acquired in 2021 by EOS Hospitality, one of the largest operators of independent hotels in New England.

“Since acquiring Red Jacket Resorts nearly three years ago, we continue to see so much interest in Cape Cod with new direct flights, extended seasons and new inventory across the region,” said Nicholas Farina, vice president of operations at EOS Hospitality, in a statement. “As we look to the 2024 season, we are seeing more demand than ever which is why we are readily investing $40 million into this renovation.”
EOS Hospitality says it conducted extensive research into what families are seeking in travel accommodations ahead of the renovation. As a result, the properties are adding family-friendly suites and forming new partnerships that will bring updated amenities.

Red Jacket Beach Resort will see a “complete refresh” to its 163 rooms and the addition of family-friendly suites complete with king beds and full-sized bunks with private nooks. New furniture will also be added to the pool.
At Riviera Beach Resort, its 125 rooms will get a “full transformation” and the company is adding a family suite with four queen beds and a dining area.
Blue Water Resort will redesign its 109 rooms and debut an all-new restaurant, along with a family-friendly suite with two beds and two bunks. Dog-friendly rooms will be available as well.
Red Jacket Resorts includes five properties: Red Jacket Beach Resort, Blue Water Resort, Riviera Beach Resort, Green Harbor Resort, and Blue Rock Resort.
