New Hampshire’s Ice Castles will open on Friday, one of the earliest opening dates in the attraction’s history, according to the company.
The enormous, frozen attraction, which is located annually in North Woodstock, N.H., features slides, tunnels, thrones, caverns, archways, and fountains. Visitors will experience new water features this season, according to the company, and guests can check out a Winter Fairy Village, Magic Forest Light Walk, tubing hill, sleigh rides, and more.
“We are excited to open the icy gates in our cherished North Woodstock community for one of our earliest dates in our 12-year history,” Kyle Standifird, CEO of Ice Castles, said in a statement. “This year, we will unveil a new
castle design and illuminate the White Mountain Forest with nearly double the amount of lights.”

The attraction’s Polar Pub, a frosty ice bar serving winter-themed alcoholic beverages for adults, will return.
The cost is $31 for ages 12 and up and $23 for ages 4-11 for peak times, and $20 for ages 12 and up and $15 for ages 4-11 for off-peak times.
There are four other Ice Castles locations nationwide, in Cripple Creek and Eagle, Colo.; Falcon Heights, Minn.; and Midway, Utah.
Tickets can be purchased on icecastles.com.
