The annual Boston Common Frog Pond will return for the 2024-2025 season on Nov. 30, open to the public for ice skating, lessons, performances, and more holiday fun.
The rink reopens every winter and has been consistently ranked as one of the country’s top spots for ice skating.
“Skating on the Boston Common Frog Pond is one of the quintessential and most popular things to do in Boston during winter,” said Doug Zeghibe, CEO & Executive Director of The Skating Club of Boston. “It’s nothing short of Boston at its very best.”
The Skating Club of Boston will host their Skating Spectacular on Tuesday, Dec. 31. With two free figure skating shows at 3 p.m. and 5:30 p.m., the event is part of Boston’s First Night festivities in celebration of the new year.
In addition to recreational ice skating, the Skating Club of Boston will hold lessons for beginners or those looking to improve.
The opening date may be subject to change depending on the weather. Gates open at 10 a.m. every day, and ticket sales end 30 minutes before closing. Guests can find updates, schedules, pricing, and more information on their website or social media channels.
