Santa Claus is coming to town — to take a dinner shift at Anna’s Taqueria in Davis Square. Father Christmas himself will head to Somerville on Dec. 15 to roll burritos at the Mexican restaurant’s annual fundraiser for Christmas in the City, a local non-profit that brings holiday cheer to thousands of children and families in the Boston area facing homelessness and poverty. This year’s Charity Rolling Event with Santa Claus is particularly meaningful for Christmas in the City and its cofounder, Sparky Kennedy, who will be rolling burritos alongside Santa. The organization is mourning co-founder Jake Kennedy, Sparky’s late husband, who died from ALS last year. Santa’s burritos each come with chips and salsa for $10, with all funds raised from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. going directly to Christmas in the City.
