At his beloved Bay Village bistro Erbaluce, which closed for good in 2018, chef Charles Draghi was known for light and luxurious Piedmontese cuisine made without butter and cream, and for popular wild mushroom dinners. Draghi’s inspired fungi fare returns to Boston on Nov. 3 with Mushrooms & Wine: A Magical Food & Wine Dinner at the South End Buttery. On the heated patio or inside by the fireplace, diners will indulge in four courses by Draghi paired with French wines, and dessert by the Buttery’s pastry chef Chris Goluszka paired with a Spanish sherry. From the white chanterelle cremosa and pappardelle with pheasant-of-the-woods to the porcini panna cotta with pinot noir-poached pears, each course revels in foraged mushrooms. Tickets are $125 and sales end Oct. 31.
