The best events in the city, delivered to your inbox
No matter how much we love to get in the kitchen, we know how taxing it is to make something delicious for dinner every. Single. Night. If you’re seeking some culinary inspiration this fall, Dumpling Daughter and New England Country Mart are making it easy with a live, virtual, kid-friendly cooking class on Nov. 14. Nadia Spellman, founder and chef at Dumpling Daughter, a Chinese restaurant with locations in Cambridge, Brookline, and Weston, will teach participants how to make dinner for four, featuring her signature scallion lo mein with garlic; vegan-friendly fried rice with dates, pineapple, and scallion; and minced chicken with lettuce leaves. Family-owned grocery delivery company New England Country Mart will drop off everything you’ll need to make these dishes, pre-portioned, right to your door. (That includes a wine pairing, too!) Order by Nov. 11 for delivery on Nov. 12 or 13. Along with the cook-along kit, you’ll receive a link to a video showing everything you’ll need to make the dishes during the live cooking class.
